I have been looking into spam blocking/filtering clients of late and have found a few things of interest.
Spam Interceptor: Spam Interceptor is a service run by one guy (Name: Unknown). He has set up Spam assassin and pops email accounts with his server. Then you download your filtered mail from his servers.
