Three Degrees of Crap
Watch out for the Microsofties’ new “killer” app. It requires windows….of course. You will also find yourself installing a shitload of updates and programs. Some spyware and nagware will be involved in this. Also, according to some, there are ads that cannot be turned off. Sounds like another Microsoft success story to me.

So, one of my clients in the loop just moved into a huge tower. I went to set up their computer equipment and noticed a wireless access point was available to my iBook. I tried to access the internet through it but had no luck. It was running dhcp so it gave me an ip address and a subnet mask. The only problem was it gave me no router. A new LAN? Looks kind of ridiculous but it might be fun just to play around with. Apparently dvd players are about to hit the new product intro cycle. I’m gonna puke.
Had a practice with the new band this evening. They have this porker playing trumpet and he is writing all of the songs. I hate his songs. I think the other guys will make a great band. I will stick with it as it seemes like they will be silencing the trumpet player quite soon.
